I attended the National Barbie Doll Convention and waited about an hour in line to have the artist autograph the doll. I had the artist sign it on the outside of the box, as opposed to the inside like everybody else did, because one might just want to look at the doll and not a signature (like I do). However, this box has remained closed as I rotated my collection of (too many - LOL) collector's Barbies on my shelves. Smoke-free home. NRFB - never removed from box. Doll has barely seen the light of day! Barbie will be shipped to you in a much larger box, packed well with packing material, and insured. Barbie is ready for your collection!
