Barbie Vintage 1960s Clothing Outfit Lot INCOMPLETE AND USED - Extras!
Barbie Vintage 1960s Clothing Outfit Lot INCOMPLETE AND USED - Extras!
SOLD $380.00 Sold: Dec 16, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
This collection of Barbie clothing belonged to a family member as a kid. They have been stored in a makeup case for decades. I am not a collector, but I have done my best to organize what is here and put it on display. I can not identify everything, but what I could find was from the 1960s. The outfits are all incomplete, and everything here has been used. Items may be discolored, missing buttons or other extra bits, have tears, loose threads, heavily creased, stained, or otherwise not be in factory condition. There is no jewelry, and many accessories are missing in addition to whatever else is not listed or shown. I have noted all the significantly damaged items I can see below. From the top left: #957 Knitting Pretty - blue cardigan, blue sleeveless shell, and blue skirt #1603 Country Fair - floral skirt and yellow blouse #1211 Tenterrific - green floral dress, pleated scarf, green tights (damage around waist), tote, green shoe Unknown - two pairs of pink pants, pink top, pink skirt (lots of creases on all of them) #965 Nighty Neglegie - pink gown and robe (dark stain on robe) #1881 Made for Each Other - yellow blouse, mini skirt, coat, vinyl belt, orange hat, both orange boots #1813 Snugg Fuzz - pink sweater (discoloring on white trim), pink skirt, silver sweater, and silver stockings #0875 Drum Majorette - hat, coat, pantyhose (damaged - has a few tears), boots (discolored spots), skirt, baton #1406 Ken Skin Diver - Orange hooded sweatshirt (missing string), green flippers There are six more items in a row on the bottom: one pink heel with some glitter on it, a pair of gold wedge slippers (one of them has a strap disconnected on the side), a white shirt w/ gold buttons, an orange bottom with Midge tag, and a red bottom (no tag looks like Midge, maybe its altered or repaired). I have not attempted any form of restoration or cleaning and have tried to handle everything with care. This lot comes as is. I have tried to take pictures of what I could, but if there is an item or outfit that you really wish to see, I might be able to help. However, they are back in storage, and I want to handle them as little as possible. The last picture shows them in a different arrangement in the sunlight. I have a few vintage Barbie auctions up for this week only. Please check them out if you are interested, thanks! Free USPS Priority shipping for USA only on this lot and 15% of all my Barbie sales go to the Born This Way Foundation. On Dec-09-24 at 18:24:29 PST, seller added the following information:I added an additional picture at the end of what looks like a part of the Drum Majorette outfit's hat. It will be included in the listing. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
Note: This item has been sold and is no longer available. This page serves as a historical price reference for Barbie collectors and appraisers.
