Original Bild Lilli Hausser German Small 7.5" Doll w/ Bild Lilli Beach Outfit.Vintage Bild Lilli German Doll Pre Barbie 1955-1964By Greiner & Hausser GmbHBeautiful pre-owned vintage condition. Doll has not been cleaned, undressed, or altered in anyway prior to listing. Includes Original Outfit with hat & Original Bild Lilli Doll Stand.My Mother inherited this doll from her Aunt & Uncle who were the original owners.This is a vintage doll in pre-owned vintage condition.The yellow top she is wearing is stained.Her face paint looks beautiful, her right shoe paint is scratched.Her hair is in excellent original vintage condition.The 7.5" doll is delicate, but everything feels attached with nothing to note.Doll has not been cleaned, undressed, or altered in anyway prior to listing. Doll will be well packed in bubble wrap and Styrofoam peanuts.Origin: The Bild Lilli doll was a West German line of fashion doll launched by Greiner & Hausser GmbH on August 12, 1955 and produced until 1964. Its design was based on the comic-strip character Lilli, created by Reinhard Beuthien for the tabloid newspaper Bild. The doll was made of polystyrene, came in two sizes, and had an available wardrobe of 1950s fashion. The Lilli doll was copied, and altered to some degree, for Mattel upon the direction of that company's co-founder, Ruth Handler.
