Here is a rare opportunity to own an excellent condition one-owner Barbie. She has been lovingly cared for and preserved for over 60 years by the little girl (now 75) who cherished her in 1960. She has always been in a smoke free home and has never been restored or retouched in any fashion. The hair is also completely original. This is a very desirable model and has the wonderful color tone associated with this era body material and also exhibits the characteristic crayon aroma. She comes with her signature cat-eye sunglasses and Barbie case which was purchased with the doll. The case handle is snapped and detached but could be easily repaired. Please note. The stand is not included as it was borrowed for the photoshoot. What truly makes this offering so special is the wonderful costume collection that was purchased the same year. It includes the highly desirable Commuter Set #916. Not being Barbie experts, we recognize that not all outfits are 100% complete and may be missing some of the very small accessories so please review each costume photo closely. Specifically, the fish and pole included with the Picnic Set #967 outfit may not be original.
