A vintage 1962 Midge Doll in blonde Bubble Cut from the Barbie collection. This 11.5-inch doll by Mattel features blue eyes and straight unbendable legs. It is made of hard plastic and belongs to the Barbie franchise, specifically the Bubble Cut Midge product line. This original Caucasian girl doll is a classic addition to any Barbie collection. The Midge Doll was first released in 1962 and retained straight legs for 2 years.This was one of my sister's dolls. She's gone, but maybe she could've confirmed that this box, though dated 1962, may not be for a Midge. I've seen a number of postings for boxes with stock number 850 that were for a Midge or a Barbie, so no confirmation either way.Doll is in great shape! Happy to answer questions.From parent's estate, smoke-free environment.On Feb-21-25 at 10:21:00 PST, seller added the following - 2/21/2025 - I was asked about the ears. I've added pictures focusing on the ears. There was a green string that I hadn't noticed, I've brushed it away. It doesn't look like this doll has the 'green ear' issue. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
