Huge Lot Of 400 pcs Vintage Barbies Collection Series Doll Mattel 1980-2020 READ
Incredible collection of 400 Barbie dolls. All Barbies are in their original boxes and in brand-new condition. On some boxes (about 20-30), the plastic protective part has cracked, and a few boxes are slightly dented, but the dolls inside are new. In some boxes, a few accessories might be missing (e.g., a shoe or a comb). I will provide additional photos upon request.The item has never been taken out of the box as far as I know, I bought this years ago from someone, but since I'm not the original ownerAs I mentioned it has never been played with. The box itself has some marks, fraying around the edges, some creasing and bending of the cardboard. I tried to make it all visible in the pictures. VINTAGE BRUNETTE BARBIE #3 DOLL in VINTAGE GAY PARISIENNE #964 COMPLETE *RARE* VINTAGE BRUNETTE BARBIE #3 DOLL in VINTAGE GAY PARISIENNE #964 COMPLETE *RARE* Description Vintage Brunette Barbie #3 in Original Gay Parisienne #964 Vintage #3 Brunette Barbie Doll from 1960 wearing one of the hardest to find collectible outfits from 1959 - she is ready for her night out in Paris! The Vintage Barbie Gaye Parisienne #964 ensemble was released in 1959. Vintage Barbie Gay Parisienne combined couture design with elegant accessories to create one of the most successful designs of 1959. The dress is a deep blue rayon taffeta bubble dress and is in minty comdition. Same fabric bows trimmed in white adorn the hem in front and the top of the zipper closing in the back. The hat is a matching blue tulle veiled headband. The white satin lined faux fur stole is in great condition. The small gold velvet clutch has a gold bead closure and is lined in white satin. The white gloves, pearl necklace and gold hoop earrings complete the ensemble. This vintage ensemble is rare and hard to find, as it was only produced in 1959. Barbie is also in Excellent condition - she is the #3 Ponytail Barbie but her face has been painted to resemble a #1/#2 Barbie - she has no loose limbs, no cracks. She has faded to a fairly even ivory color and she smells like crayons. She has all her red finger and toe nail polish. Her hair is still in the original ponytail but her bangs are not good and have been styled to match the Paris outfit she is wearing - she still has a curl at the bottom of the ponytail. She has no green ear but holes for earrings are a bit darker. She has green dot on the back of the neck from the necklace clasp and a few indents around the front of her neck where the necklace has been sitting for so long - see pics. Her makeup is nice and bright! Overall this is a Gorgeous doll and she is ready to be a show stopper in your vintage Barbie display. Rare 1960 #3/#4 Barbie Doll Blonde Hair BROWN Eyeliner Near Mint Doll +Box+Dress
This vintage 1960 Barbie doll was a super exciting find for me in the summer of 2001. My 17 year old daughter had been away to Italy for a year as a Rotary Foreign Exchange Student. We missed her immensely and I was searching for a welcome home gift that would mark the special occasion. Being that she grew up playing with Barbies, when I saw this doll at a moving sale I knew I had found THE GIFT. I was stunned at how pristine she was - quickly learning it was because she was deemed "too mature" at the time for a little girl to play with. Her mother had tucked Barbie, box and all, in a closet. Substituting instead a Ginny doll for her daughter to play with. (I bought the Ginny doll too).My daughter was thrilled to tears with the gift, but had grown-up during her year away. She valued the doll as an investment, so once again Barbie was carefully tucked away, this time in a temperature controlled locked safe. Fast forward 20+ years and my daughter has given the go-ahead to sell her super special Barbie. (Her son is excited by Legos.)Ready for her new Best Friend we offer this 1960 vintage #3 (transition #4) Barbie Doll.Original 1960 #3 Barbie with Blue Irises and Brown curved Eyebrows. This is one of the FEW Barbies made with the Brown Eyeliner AND she is from a later in the year issue of a new vinyl plastic formula that would NOT turn a sickly white. (Collectors refer to the tan-toned dolls to be #4.) However this doll has the brown eyeliner making her a RARER 1960 #3 TRANSITION BARBIE!! EXCELLENT COLORING all around on her swimsuit, hair, red accents, cheek blush, sunglasses and box: I believe due to the fact she has been stored in a closet for her first 40 years and a safe the past 23 years.Included with her is The Barbie COTTON CASUAL Dress #912. It has a name and date inked on the inside: Beth 1-7-60. It was purchased with the doll but obviously stored separately thus showing some dust accumulation on the the top of the bodice.This doll comes complete with:Original pair of white and blue black and white swimsuit which still fits like a glove. I don't think it has ever been completely off.Matched pair of black shoes (one plain/one stamped "Japan") designed for the No. 1 with holes in the shoe bottoms to accommodate a stand. (NO stand was with her when I purchased in 2001.)This beautiful item has been gently stored away for her entire existence in a pet-free, smoke-free home. Her Body is in AMAZING SHAPE for being over 60 years old.The plastic has not changed colors. Her skin smells like crayons. Her joints are nice and tight. Her lips, nose, fingers and toe nails are still bright red.Her cheeks are blushed.On her bottom right butt cheek you can clearly see "Barbie™ Pats Pend © MCMLVIII by Mattel Inc," On her left butt cheek is the B 42. (usually referred to as a mold number)Brown eyeshadow & Brows and curved (not pointy) brow line indicates she is a #3 Barbie. The original top Hair band is intact.Her Bang curls are still tight.Pearl Stud Earrings are intact. Her right side earring shows slight green from metal ear stud. Her left earring is clear & clean.There are no visible neck splits Included is her Barbie COTTON CASUAL Dress #912. It has a name and date inked on the inside: Beth 1-7-60. It was purchased with the doll but obviously stored separately thus showing some dust accumulation on the the top of the bodice.There are some faint dark blotches on her right calf. A few mold indents may be visible on the rest of her body as is normal for this type of molded plastic doll body. I did not undress her completely but did see one such blemish on the back of her torso under the swimsuit. Please study ALL photo's as they are part of this items description. There are NO foot tubes/holes on this #3 doll.THE BARBIE BOX is in near mint condition! Marked Stock No 850. BLOND, Japan. copyright 1959. No tears or rips. Minor top lid curving and bubbling of the color design paper pressboard. The bottom inside lid has some discoloration as does the box bottom with a moisture mark near one end. I have left her on the folded cloth napkin as she was found. Early 1960s Barbie Mattel Ponytail Doll with Accessories
Both #3 and #4 Ponytail Barbies were issued in 1960. It can be difficult to tell the #3 and #4 Ponytails apart when they have blue shadow. One of the viewers senta message saying that it was a #4 and he could tell by the skin color. Experts say relying on skin color can still be confusing. Mattel 1960 #3 Brunette Barbie with brown eyeliner, original owner
My mother is the original owner of this 1960 Mattel #3 Brunette Barbie doll with brown eyeliner (only #3’s have brown eyeliner), stock #850 (made in Japan; stamped “Japan” on bottoms of both her feet). It comes with all the original items: box, little brochure with pages of Barbie fashions, metal stand, hoop earrings, sunglasses with blue lens, black and white bathing suit and high heels. Face painting, hairdo, fingernail and toenail polish are all original and in perfect condition. She has the faded skin that you see in Barbie’s 1 thru 3 and the crayon scent. She is also one of the few Barbies with nipples!This doll has never been played with. Having said that, there are minor defects that have occurred with the passage of time. Please see photos for details but they include:1. Minor discoloration spot on forehead (upper right) as well as on right shoulder and at joint for arm and shoulder. Also, slight difference in color on upper right back (please see photos). These sorts of spots do occur with age. This is NO greening around the earrings.2. One high heel has a broken strap (please see photo). I have not attempted repair but I think this can be done.3. Because the shoes were left on the doll, the black plastic shoes have discolored the doll’s feet (please see photo). However, with the shoes on, this defect cannot be seen.4. There is also a small crack in the base of the stand but it still works well (see photo).5. The box has one end severed at the edges (flap intact) and the other end has a small water mark (please see photos)For an almost 64 year old doll, she is in very good condition. Vintage Barbie 1960 Ponytail # 3 In Original Box With Sunglasses & Stand
You are bidding on a Vintage Barbie 1960 Ponytail # 3 In Original Box With Sunglasses & Stand. She looks to be in good condition except for a small "greening" of one of her ears. We don't normally sell vintage Barbies, but we are being told. The greening can be cleaned. She was purchased by the original owner, who had been storing her in a curio cabinet for many years. We do not see any touch-ups, she will need to be cleaned, but we will let you do that. Please see pics for actual condition. Insurance and signature required will be required, that is why a handling cost has been added to shipping cost.
