VINTAGE BARBIE Midnight Black/Ruby Red Color Magic Doll in
Vintage Barbie Midnight Color Magic Doll. Excellent condition, original face makeup, beautiful lip color, thick hair with the brown scalp that is used for the Midnight Color Magic doll. She has an American Girl face, the hair is much thicker on these dolls. No missing or thin hair plugs, hair is not dried out or brittle, it has not been trimmed, there are a few short hairs in the front by her part. She has the brown scalp color. The hair changed from brown to ruby red when I wet it with baking soda and water solution. The ruby red color is stunning, check out the pictures. Her hair has now turned back to brown over time. She has about 90% of her nail polish. Her legs bend and hold all 3 positions and they are no loose or sprung, they are snug at the hips. I did see 1 tiny pin tap below her right knee, check out the pictures, it is not a deep pin prick, more of a tap. She has the normal tiny holes on her legs where the bending mechanism is, which is normal on all bend leg dolls. She comes with the Color Magic Fashion Designer Mad Plaid dress and matching purse and green open toed "Japan" heels. She will be shipped safely in a clear plastic box with white liner holding her securely and placed inside a shipping box. Shipping will be by priority mail with insurance and signature confirmation. This vintage Barbie doll from the Color Magic series is a rare find for collectors. The doll comes from Japan and was manufactured in 1966, making it an original piece. The Barbie Collector product line will surely make this doll a valuable addition to any collection. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Vintage Color Magic Barbie #1150 LOT w/Original Swimsuit Outfit & Accessories
Vintage lot of two 1966 Mattel Color Magic Barbie dolls, one with Golden Blonde hair and one with Midnight Black hair. Included with them is an original color changing diamond print swimsuit and turquoise Japan heels, the Color Magic Fashion Fun color changing top, skirt and pants, as well as added light pink Japan squishy flats, and the Color Magic Fashion Designer color changing plaid dress and yellow Japan heels. The top needs new snaps on the back, and the pants have some stains. The swimsuit belt is short on one side. The blonde's hair is thick and may have been trimmed in the back. The black hair is very thin and easily comes out, and she is missing lots of hair plugs. The blonde has a small slit in the front of one knee, and both feet are faded to a lighter tone than the rest of her legs. The black haired gal has many pin pricks all around her feet and ankles, as well as a possible chew on one ankle. Neither have any nose nips, neck splits, or green ear. Both are high color, with the blonde's color more vibrant. Both have original polish on fingernails. I touched up their eye ridges with black acrylic. Both sets of knees click at least twice. Stands are not included, but white display boxes are. Smoke-free home. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

EXC VINTAGE BARBIE Ruby Red/Midnight Black Color Magic HIGH COLOR OSS Dress BIN
Ooh la la! Here's beautiful vintage Color Magic Barbie, in her hardest to find variation, Ruby Red/Midnight Black! This exotic girl has high color, all original make-up, & her original swimsuit with ribbon belt! Her head scarf is a reproduction that looks quite good on her. She also comes with one of her color-changing dresses from the 1966 Color Magic Fashion Designer Set on a clear plastic dress form, with a Mod Era hanger, turquoise reproduction mules, in a clear plastic display box shown in pic #7. I love her American Girl face mold and her brilliant make-up. She has been gently played, and has some resulting hair breakage and hair thinning, so she is not for "Mint" collectors. But though she is not perfect, she still has beauty to spare! She is awe-inspiring in any of the Color Magic fashions, in fancy 1600 series outfits, or in Mod Era fashions that are ready for the discotheque! Please note that the Kaiser stand & small white box in pic #11 are not included in this auction. I accept returns, but only if the item is in the original condition, with no alterations or color changes.I will never describe anything as "Mint" unless I've just taken it out of the original package. I've collected vintage Barbie for 30+ years, and I scrutinize the items I sell on eBay; if I haven't addressed something important to you in my description, please ask me a question:). You may want to save me as a seller, as I am selling a large vintage Barbie collection on eBay.Barbie's make-up looks great; I don't see any fading or wear on her lips or brows. She has all original, bright, full raspberry lips, and some smokey eyeshadow. She also has lots of beautiful original blush still. She doesn't have any earring holes, nose nips, or neck splits. Her hair is in overall pretty smooth, but there is some dryness at the ends. She does have some hair breakage and loss along her front hairline, as this hair material is quite fragile; but with her hair in the original style, it's not terribly obvious. I don't see any missing hair plugs other than shown along the front hairline, see pic #13 , but her hair has thinned a bit from being played with. She has a dark-brown painted scalp underneath. Her hair could be parted a bit better for scalp coverage, but I didn't want to mess with it.She has a Excellent body, with her left knee bending back 3x and holding the pose; her right leg bends back 2x; it won't hold the 3rd bend. Her legs are tight at the hips, and not springy. She still has nice fingernail polish. No stains or poke marks. She has the 1958 Japan markings on her right butt cheek is raised lettering, see pic #21. I see 4 very faint blue specks around her left knee (on the right in the pics), but this is hard to see unless you look super closely. It doesn't show up in her body pics #22 & #23. Her original swimsuit looks very nice: it doesn't look like the original owner color changed it! It does have 2 little red spots on the front, I think maybe from the color change solution dripping off of her hair. She has her original turquoise ribbon belt, the reproduction head scarf, and some reproduction turquoise mules. The mules are unmarked on their bottoms, and they don't fit her feet very well. I've also added the Fashion Designer set dress; this dress has some damage on the back left shoulder area, but it displays well from the front. I think the shoulder area could be repaired fairly easily. The dress is pretty clean & the zipper works.
