Rare Barbie #2 Brunette Ponytail Display Doll Silhouette Box Plantation Belle
eBay This is the rare Barbie #2 brunette ponytail display doll silhouette box plantation belle. This item is sold in used condition. In my opinion, it is in very good to excellent condition for its age. The item has wear / dirt on them, see pics. The bottom box has split on side and bottom inside/outside edge split. Both have tape on it. The top box lid has 3 corner / edge splits with tape on it. The doll front waist and back, arms have discolor from wearing dress. The left arm has small plastic pc sticking up near elbow. Rough plastic feeling on doll arm in that area, see pics. The arms and legs move up and down fine, but you must take it slow on the legs. They have not been used for long time, and are very stiff to move. The left leg is a harder to move, than the right. The doll right ear has something sticky? on ear, behind it, on hair, see pic. The left ear hole is ripped a little, see pic. The toes/ foot area have a little discolor on front and back, see pics. The dress is tagged, barbie r. The stand is marked tm, and on back marked Japan and Mattel International r, see pic. The necklace is broken. The earring is missing color on round part, see last pic. The white skirt is dirty around waist section. The barbie doll is marked tm. The tm is worn, have to see it on angle closeup. The store display box label says #866 plantation belle. Then under it #966, see pics. Some pics with flash made items brighter, but showed more detail. The doll is not bright white that some pics show. Pic #1 is a close match in color. Please use the pictures to judge the condition and bid on this item yourself.The doll was a store display doll in a large Allentown Pa department store. I got the doll over 30 years ago from original owner. This low production large display silhouette box outfit will make any collection better with this rare barbie set . Vintage 1966 Color Magic Hi-Color Ruby Red/Midnight Hair Barbie w/Closet/Acces
Beautiful 1966 ALL Original High Color Ruby Red/Midnight Color Magic with her closet and 3 NRFP Accessories, plus booklet with original shoes and original Color Magic Booklet, describing the "how too's" and stylng tips. She has beautiful ALL original face color, cheek's, eyes and lips are nice and bright, no rubs noted. Her "Right" eyebrow is "shorter" than the left, not sure if that is from a "rub" or factory. Her Hair is full, no missing plugs, but NOT thick. There are a few strands of "Black" hair mixed in with the Ruby Red, I can't honestly tell you if her hair had been changed and then changed back, I don't remember. I tried to get pictures, but I'm not a photographer, so apologies.NO Green Ear, no earring holes present.Her Body is in good condition, no loose limbs, however arm's are darkening and leg's are paling in some areas. Not sure if a good spa day would help this or not, I am not an expert.Her knees bend and click 3 times each, and there are no rips or tears anywhere on her body. The bottom of her feet are "dirty" and I attempted to get a pix of that.I am sorry that I was unable to give this girl a bath prior to sale, my age has gotten in the way.She has original nail polish on both hands (faint on Left), and none on her toes. As to the "closet", her box, it is missing the piece on the back that had a "clip" which was her "stand", that held her securely in the box, also the hanger extension and hanger. It has been broken/cracked at one end, both the purple bottom and the clear top due to play, age, storage, etc. Included is a NRFP set of ribbons and I think barettes ?, also the original color changers A and B, although I don't think I would use them due to age. This is a rare and collectible Mattel 1966 Black Francie Twist N Turn Barbie Doll with dark brown hair. It would make a great addition to any doll collection or a wonderful gift for a Barbie enthusiast. The doll stands at 11 inches tall and features beautiful brown eyes and dark brown hair. Francie was gently played with and in beautiful condition, although one leg does not click and feels like it may be a broken knee socket though no skin has been stretched or broken open. She is a well-cared for doll. Her eyelashes are intact and the other leg clicks perfectly. She also twists smoothly at the waist. Most need cleaning and a couple have stubby lashes, or missing paint. Talking Christie is mute and her leg is off. The knob is broken. I also added a Talking Barbie as shown in the last photos. She is also mute. The strings on both Talking dolls pull out and retract. One of the TNT's has a blown knee. Everything else held either 2 or 3 clicks. If you have any questions, please ask. I didn't know about it when I purchased her because is hard to see with band and clip in. I assume the tight hair clip broke off the hair over the years of being in, clip attached to the head band currently. Not noticeable with head band on and didn't see myself until I peeked underneath the band.Several hair plugs in front are a lighter blonde at root bases and some broken strands as most with this fragile hair have but no empty plugs.The Vintage headband has a spot/water mark on top.The Vintage swimsuit is tagged. This auction is for a huge lot of 11 1960’s Barbie dolls, clothes and accessories. There are Barbie Midge dolls, Chelsey, Francie, Stacey, Skipper, Ken and Allan. Some Twist N Turns. There may be a Dramatic Living Barbie – red head Titan ? Not sure of that. I am not a Barbie or doll collector so I will do my best to describe what is included in this auction, which is everything you see in the photos. Ebay only allows 24 photos so I was not able to take as many photos of the dolls as I would have liked. But I did include some information on the markings for each doll below. The photos of the dolls butts are for the dolls marked #5, 8, 11, 1, 3 and 2 - in that order. Many of the clothes contain original tags for Barbie, Midge, Skipper, Francie, etc. Some of the clothes are also not tagged so I do not know if they are all original, although everything appears to be from this period. Same with the accessories. Many of the shoes are stamped “Japan” on the bottom, but some are not stamped. The baggie containing the notebooks and pencils is original and sealed. I matched up some of the shoes but not all of them. There are many other pairs and some singles as well I would assume. The vast majority of the clothes appear to be in very good condition but not all of them. A few may have stains or damage, but again, the vast majority appear to be in very good condition. I was told none or very few of them were washed but because I am not a doll person/expert so I have no idea – sorry. I do not know if I have all of the men’s and women’s clothes separated correctly. Please feel free to ask questions. I do not have a great sense of smell, but the items here do have a musty smell. I was told they were kept in a box in an upstairs closet but I have no idea. I was going to wash the clothes but I didn’t want to ruin them and was not sure exactly how to go about that, so lucky winner of this auction can take on that task. As you can see, however, the vast majority of the clothes and accessories are in very good to excellent condition. BARBIE Barbie's body has been replaced with the "Talking Barbie" stamped "Hong Kong", it was released one year later. The torso, arms and legs are exactly the same, however the markings are different. © 1967 Mattel, Inc. U.S. & Foreign Pats. Pend. Hong Kong. Unfortunately the legs of the "Talking Barbie" from 1967 and 1968 tend to break. Barbie is mute. However, her string can be pulled. HAIR Gorgeous hair, multiple shades of blonde. All of her hair seems to be in place, her hair seems to be correct, in a braid, Talking Barbie dolls were sold with a braid as well as a ponytail with three ties. I added a clear rubberband to the top tie, the bottom rubberband is present but is dry and broken, the original ribbons are in place and have not been retied. FACE Her complexion is absolutely mint! Zero fading and zero darkening. Her face looks brand new! Zero rubs to her make up, unfortunately she is missing two eyelashes. Neither ear is pierced. Zero neckplits. TORSO Perfect torso. Free of scratches and melt marks. Very clean. Stamped MEXICO on her rear. ARMS Both arms are haven't been cleaned using a strong detergent removing the slick coating Each shoulder is semi stained. I do not recommend moving either arm due to the age. HANDS All fingers are intact with zero pin holes. Very clean. LEGS Barbie's legs are perfect. Absolutely zero flaws to the vinyl, both are stain free and function with three hard clicks. Zero pin holes. Unfortunately there are grey stains on each of Barbie's hips. Each leg is attached with the original mechanism, however, the left leg is not as tight. I do not recommend moving either leg. Unfortunately the legs of the "Talking Barbie" from 1967 and 1968 tend to break. FEET Perfect feet. All toes are present. Zero pin holes. DRESS Yellow Ruffled Lamé Gown - Excellent to near mint condition. The material is bright and clean, however the dress appears soiled in the photo's, which it is not. Please contact me for additional photo's. All threads are tightly woven with zero pulls and zero snags... The metallic silver threads have not lost their luster. Absolutely zero holes and zero repairs. The only visible flaw is the yellow polyester underskirt, faint wrinkles. SHOES I have paired Barbie's hot pink closed to heels with the "Fabulous Formal" gown. They are free of fading, chips and splits. Each have a straight heel. Both are stamped JAPAN. PURSE Barbie's gold dimple purse has been added to the set. It is in excellent condition. HANGER The pink filigree Barbie hanger is included. TALKING GOOD LOOKIN' KEN Talking Ken is mute, however, he is in nice displayable condition. Minor fading to his face. Zero hair rubs. Unfortunately his head was glued on, most likely due to a chip of plastic missing from the front of his neck. His pull string does not move and I would not recommend attempting. His arms, hands, legs and rear have surface marks. Both of his arms are functioning, as well as his legs. His rear is stamped MEXCIO. Ken is in good condition. DRESS SHIRT Near excellent condition. The material is bright and clean with all gold threading intact on the tie. The back button has been replaced, the loop is intact but is dried and stretched. VEST Excellent condition. The front of the vest is bright, bold and clean with all three original gold buttons intact and secure. Slight age discoloration to the back. All seams are intact; zero repairs. GOLD JACKET Near mint condition. The material is bright, bold and clean; non faded. Free of holes and stains. The jacket is free of repairs. The Ken label is secure with zero fraying. SLACKS The slacks included with the set are original, they are in excellent condition, bright and clean, one small rust dot can be found on the front right side of the slacks. The YKK zipper is functioning. Free of holes and repairs. WHITE SOCKS Ken's original socks are in excellent condition. Neither of the socks are stretched. One is slightly discolored. Free of holes. WHITE LOAFERS Both are in excellent condition. Each shoe reads Hong Kong on the inside. Free of stains. THE BOOKLET IS INCLUDED. VTG ‘66-‘67 AMERICAN GIRL LONG CHARCOAL BRUNETTE Barbie in Hostess Set #1034
Vintage Late 1966-67 Long Charcoal Brunette American Girl Barbie Doll. Barbie is absolutely beautiful with her flawless hair style and wonderful makeup, see images. She comes with her original bend leg body marked: ©1958/ Mattel, Inc./ U.S. Patented/ U.S. Pat.Pend/Made In Japan (all markings raised= late ‘66-‘67 doll), see image. All joints are tight, there is no flop in her legs when wiggled side to side. Her right hand has a red dot and scratch on forearm, see images. All nail paint on hands looks great. She has NO green ear because no piercings, but does have a tiny gouge near her right temple, see images. No neck splits, but there is some discoloration at top of her back of her neck, see image. Hair is gorgeous and neatly parted down the middle. Her left leg does not bend as I believe the mechanism is broken, it is permanently in the first click position, see images. Her right leg bends and holds to two clicks only, see images. Barbie comes dressed in her 1965 fashion Hostess Set #1034. Outfit is original and comes with beautiful russet red chiffon overlay jumpsuit, sparkling red and gold tabard, and gold lamé belt, see images. The closed toe red pumps and the gold clutch did not originally come with this set but are a perfect compliment to it, see images. The outfit is in great shape with only one visible pin hole from Barbie’s pinky on the back left of the chiffon jumpsuit and there seems to be a snap missing on the back of the jumpsuit, see images. She comes with a large amount of original hostess set accessories: toaster with two slices of bread, one knife, one fork missing a tine, one broken spoon, record player with one red and one blue record, 3 casserole dishes with lids, coffee maker with lid, tea kettle, silver teapot, and a few cups and saucers (1 cup appears to be not original, but added as a bonus), see images for items and condition. All other items including the second outfit from this set are missing. Barbie has been lovingly displayed as is in a private collection for years. Vintage Mattel Barbie Friend Midge Doll LOT w/Clothes Accessories & Case
Lot of 7 original Mattel Midge Dolls, 4 with bendable legs, 3 original and 1 molded hair, a double case, and 29 separate outfits (including swimsuits), not necessarily complete. The bendable leg dolls each have issues; 3 have some legs that don't click, some have chewed feet, as well, and one has a broken/poorly fixed neck knob. Their heads and fingers are all good. The originals and molded hair gals are free of nose nips, neck splits, and green ears. Clothes range in condition from ok to excellent. There are a couple of snaps that need resewn and some light stains. Stands are not included. Smoke-free home. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
