Vintage Rare Brunette Sidepart American Girl Barbie. This is the greatly coveted and hard-to-find Sidepart American Girl Barbie from 1966. She has fabulous dark brunette (black) hair coiffed into a page boy hairdo with nice flat bangs and terrific side curls. No cuts or missing plugs.She has perfect and original coral lips and intact eye makeup. No nose nips or neck splits. Her hair ribbon has been replaced.She has a few pinpricks on either side of her mouth. Very subtle and in no way detracts from her beauty. See pictures.She will come on an excellent bend leg body with working knees, no tears, wearing her mint American Girl swimsuit.These amazing dolls are often hard to find, especially in such terrific shape. VINTAGE BARBIE Midnight Black/Ruby Red Color Magic Doll in
Vintage Barbie Midnight Color Magic Doll. Excellent condition, original face makeup, beautiful lip color, thick hair with the brown scalp that is used for the Midnight Color Magic doll. She has an American Girl face, the hair is much thicker on these dolls. No missing or thin hair plugs, hair is not dried out or brittle, it has not been trimmed, there are a few short hairs in the front by her part. She has the brown scalp color. The hair changed from brown to ruby red when I wet it with baking soda and water solution. The ruby red color is stunning, check out the pictures. Her hair has now turned back to brown over time. She has about 90% of her nail polish. Her legs bend and hold all 3 positions and they are no loose or sprung, they are snug at the hips. I did see 1 tiny pin tap below her right knee, check out the pictures, it is not a deep pin prick, more of a tap. She has the normal tiny holes on her legs where the bending mechanism is, which is normal on all bend leg dolls. She comes with the Color Magic Fashion Designer Mad Plaid dress and matching purse and green open toed "Japan" heels. She will be shipped safely in a clear plastic box with white liner holding her securely and placed inside a shipping box. Shipping will be by priority mail with insurance and signature confirmation. This vintage Barbie doll from the Color Magic series is a rare find for collectors. The doll comes from Japan and was manufactured in 1966, making it an original piece. Vintage Barbie 1965 Brunette American Girl Side Part with Box & Accessories
I have recently acquired an entire vintage Barbie collection and will be listing various dolls, clothing and accessories over the next few months.This listing is for a vintage 1965 - 1966 original brunette American Girl Side Part Barbie. Her face and arms are slightly darker than the rest of her body which is typical of this doll. She does not have any earring holes, green ear or neck splits. Her eyebrows are a bit faded near the ends. Her lipstick appears to be thin on the top lip but mostly there; just very light in color. Her brunette colored hair is very thick with no missing plugs. Her hair has been restyled with a new headband.She is on the correct bendable leg body with indented markings: "1958 Mattel, Inc., U.S. Patented, U.S. Pat. Pend., Made in Japan" with the number 4 on the other cheek. The body is in excellent condition! Her legs click tightly. She has all of her fingernail and toenail polish, however, the left toenails have some chips in the paint. No chews marks.She will come wearing her vintage swimsuit and turquoise open toed heels marked "JAPAN" that are in excellent condition. Her box is in fair condition due to it's age. Very RARE HTF Diamond Swirl Travel Case with Side-Swirl Brunette Barbie, 1964
This is a Very Rare vintage Barbie set. Barbie is a brunette side-swirl ponytail with original bands and in immaculate original set, blue side-glancing eyes, blue eye shadow, coral lips, wearing her Fashion Queen gold and white striped swim suit and matching gold shoes. She is in her original travel case designed with separate compartment for Barbie and another separate compartment to hang her clothes. The vinyl travel case is a rare design of green white yellow and blue diamond swirl with image of American Girl Barbie face and Barbie logo, with stamp of SPP (Standard Plastic Products) and Mattel Toymakers. Mattel, near mint unplayed with condition, the doll is original to this case from 1964. After researching this set, I found only one other of these vintage Barbie sets that was auctioned years ago by Theriaults Auctions. I also found a picture of this set in the Manos’ 1983 The World of Barbie Dolls book which describes it as, “Barbie case with doll #2000 (1966 booklet). This case came with a Swirl pony tail Barbie doll dressed in a “Fashion Queen Barbie” suit. Very rare.” (This is the final photo above.)Please see all photos as an extension of this description. Vtg 1960's Midge Doll straight legs w Brunette Barbie head 1964 / 1966 Nice!
This auction is for a Mattel 11-1/2” Midge doll. The head does not match the body and I am not sure of the date of the head but it appears to be from the 1960’s. She is in nice condition. I have only cleaned her with alcohol and a Magic Eraser, no chemicals. She has Brunette hair and bright blue eyes. Her painted eyebrows are in excellent condition. Her painted eyes are in excellent condition. Her arms and legs rotate, as they should and are tight (hold their pose). Her hands and fingers are in great shape as are the toes and feet. White ball earrings in the ears, no greening. NO greening on the body, a red spot on the back of her right arm, see pic. NO bite or chew marks. NO splitting at the neck. I don’t find any missing hair plugs. The markings indicate the body is from 1964 to 1966. The markings are raised print: MIDGE TM 1962 BARBIE ©1958 BY MATTEL, INC. PATENTED Her left cheek is marked with the #14 I make every effort to list any flaws in the items I post. I don’t want anyone to be disappointed when the item is received. Large Vintage Barbie & Friends Lot Dolls Ricky Clothes Skipper Case C2
Here is a Barbie and friends lot. Lots are not inspected or described item by item and are in varying condition, we will try to mention anything that we see as we are listing this lot. If you have a question on a particular item let us know. The boy dolls are marked 1963 and are about 9" long, and the clothes in the bag with them have Ricky labels. The Skipper case has a doll marked 1967 Japan Mattel and another marked 1963 Mattel. They are 8 1/2". Some of the clothes have Skipper labels some no labels. Case is kind of grungy. Also includes three other dolls. The black one is marked 1966 Mattel made in Japan as is the one in the mod pants suit. No mark on the other doll. The yellow coat has a Barbie label, a couple other pieces have Hong Kong labels, some have some damage and one piece has a lot of spots on it and the outfit on the black doll has a tear at the waist line.Often we have similar listings so please check our other items! .
