Original Mattel Vintage Barbie Dream House-1985 Original Box. This is a 1985 Barbie Dream House with most of its original pieces and box. Comes with 100+ small pieces, plants, and the furniture shown. Some extra pieces have been included. The original building manuals are included. Please know that this is collector-owned and was NEW IN BOX until about 10 years ago for display. All items pictured in this listing, including the original Barbie Dream House box and the shipping box from Mattel are part of this listing. The boxes have some slight water marks from when the house was assembled and the boxes were stored. This is a rare Barbie Dream House in this color and with all the pieces included. Many hours of imaginary play or many memories to relive! Very sweet set that could be made modern with new Barbie furniture sets sold in stores today. Some things we noticed:The kitchen chairs and wicker couch were not part of the set. Some items to note are that 2 pillars have cracked and have yellowed (pictured) due to age. Once assembled, they are not noticeable. A knob is missing from the stove. 2 outside lamps are missing some pegs, but they may be attached to the house with glue if desired. 2 pink clear doors are missing a peg. The refrigerator butter box door is cracked (pictured), but doesn't affect use. Some plants are either missing the peg hole on the bottom of the plant (manufacturer mistake) or is cracked from age. (pictured) Some of the pink plastic shows slight color change (pictured). New sticker sheets included, but may need glue. All screws are included. eBay It's October 27th. If the house doesn't sell right away I will be changing it to a bidding auction with the starting bid at 1600. I've seen what these go for in bidding every single one of them went for higher than this......and none of them had as much furniture or better condition as far as the pink not being faded or discolored at all. Someone is sure to appreciate this house! *Got my first message that the link to the album isn't working. I added a different pic of the link so maybe it will fix the problem. I tested it from a different browser and it opened right up. Message me if you're having difficulty and I'll try to help. This listing had over 100 watchers when I ended it. I had it sold and the sale fell through unexpectedly. I have since completely disassembled it without any of the plastic pieces breaking or losing any hardware. No stripped screws. Everything remained intact. I have updated the album as well. You can find the link in the last picture. Please make sure to read the info on the last pic as well for the opportunity to get this cheaper than it's listed for now. There are close to 200 pictures of the house from empty to completely set up and arranged to disassembled and ready for shipping. There's even a video of the washer and dryer working. Also showing all the lights working. Every detail I could think of is in that album. It's a big purchase as it was also a huge labor of love to get all those photos of the different stages. There are only a few of these listed every year. It was appraised in August at over 2k and now in October its gone up another 200 dollars. As it gets closer to the holiday season it will only go up. The amount of original pieces and extras is incredible. I've also had several collectors point out the fact that mine doesn't have all the discoloration that's found with MOST of these that aren't new in box. And that's because it's been stored in a walk in closet with no windows or direct sunlight for years. And the accessory that goes in front of the fireplace is another rare accessory that's missing from most secondary market houses. There are also the stickers that go on all the little food and beverage items. Those always come off over time because of the adhesive staying power after over 30 years. But they are intact stickers that just fell off and were saved.....they can EASILY be reattached by the new owner. Important disclaimer MANY won't ship this because it's huge and fragile. It's over 30 years old after all. It will come DISASSEMBLED to fit in a box. Pictures have been taken of every single piece of this process to avoid any possible return requests. Some level of wear and tear should be expected and I am NOT responsible for any damage incurred putting it back together. This will come fully insured and has signature delivery confirmation, which is required of any item over $750 on ebay. The item is cross posted as I am not new to ecommerce or even this selling platform. Keep in mind that part of the insurance policy says the item can't be put back in transit or it voids the policy. Manufactured by Mattel in Mexico, this fashion doll house includes nearly ALL the original furniture, appliances and accessories. However, many are in TLC condition. Vintage 1985 Pink Barbie Dream House A-Frame w/Huge Lot of Furniture Accessories
eBay Bring it all home with this vintage 1985 Barbie Dream House! Includes everything pictured above. This fully furnished house will make the perfect Christmas gift this year for a new generation of Barbie fans! Item includes original flower beds, multiple dining sets, bed sets, make-up table and much much more!!A note to potential buyers: This toy is being sold by its original owner who got many years of enjoyment with this toy as a young girl. With that being said, please remember that this toy is nearly 40 years old, and some parts will have some yellowing, and will be somewhat brittle and show some cracking, so make sure to handle this toy gently, especially during assembly. Most of the accessories are still in great shape, but one of the dining room chair legs needed some TLC so we did glue it back on. Two of pink doors on the back of the house can be installed and will function, but their pins are somewhat loose and can cause the door to fall out. The only other accessory that we were unable to glue back completely was the candlestick. We offer this information in an effort to be as transparent as possible.
