Offering for your consideration is a wonderful, very large vintage collection of Barbie, Francie and Midge dolls. There is an American Girl, two ponytails (I think a #5 and #6), an early Bubble Cut, Francie and Midge dolls. I'm including 26 vintage Barbie outfits and six vintage Francie doll outfits. A total of 22 of the 32 outfits are complete and there are NO reproductions in this auction!Please note: I purchased this lot in 2013 from two sisters who are lifelong friends of mine. Everything has been played with, however the items have always been very well taken care of and loved. I'll give a complete description below. I know it is very long, but I think when you buy an auction, the more you know the better it is, and I want you to be really happy with your purchase! So grab your favorite beverage and enjoy the pictures and description. Thank you.Doll DescriptionsSummary - All of the dolls have no green ear! The American Girl, Francie and Midge don't even have earring holes. All dolls have blonde hair in various shades. There are NO neck splits, missing fingers or toes, and NO nose nips or damage to eyelash ridges. They are very clean, no musty or smoking odors. Each doll will have her correct swimsuit and heels when she arrives.American Girl - very nice condition. Great hair and makeup is still good, lip color is peachy. Body markings are correct. Knees click three times and and hold three times. Nail polish is very good, there is some missing. Does not look like she ever had toe polish. Right leg has a very small space between leg and body. Left leg has two tiny indents on the calf. Please see picture, it is the one with Francie's mark on her thigh.First Ponytail - Original topknot, I can barely see rubber band, it has almost disappeared. She has pretty hair, it is not braided, she does have some flyaways. Lower rubber band missing. I think she is a #5, has Barbie only body. Winning bidder may prefer to have this dolls face paint restored as it is faded or gone completely and paint is missing on one eye. She is the oldest doll in collection also. Nail polish is still good, toe polish is missing on a few of her toes. Right arm is swingy when down, will hold a pose however. Right ankle turns in a tiny bit.Second Ponytail - Original topknot, rubber band on top knot is mostly gone. Great looking bangs, ponytail is braided, some flyaways. No lower rubber band, I added the ribbon. Not sure if braid is factory. I'm pretty sure she is a #6, has Midge - Barbie body. Face paint is pretty, faded on lips and eyebrows. Super tiny dot on chin, this is hard to see. Nail polish is good, I see no toe polish. Right leg is a tad shorter. Right foot has super tiny mark on side of little toe. Nice body.Francie - Excellent doll. Has eyelashes, very pretty face, straight waist. Hair is pretty, long, with a nice curl. Knees click times three, hold times two. Correct markings on bottom. I don't think she ever had nail or toe polish. Tiny blue mark on side of left thigh (please see picture). I can see the beginning of a faint split on the top of her left foot too.Bubble Cut - Excellent condition, Barbie only body. Very pretty hair, her makeup is super nice, her lips are fab! Slightly greasy face. Nail polish is faint, I see no toe polish. Great body, slight swing to right arm when down.Midge - Excellent condition, has Midge - Barbie body. Pretty face paint, hair is curled, few flyaways. Both her nail and toe polish is very good.OutfitsSummary- I've shown the dolls wearing some of the outfits and tried to show all outfits in the pictures. All the zippers work and are YKK. The snaps are present. One side of the snap is coming off the Plantation Belle slip. Most Barbie R tags are present, some are frayed. Note: There is no tag on the Dancing Doll dress, however I'm sure it is vintage. There are NO seam tears, hems coming out, or major stains. Some of the white material in the clothes is a little cream colored. I'll list the complete outfits first, and any issues I'll point out as best I can on all the outfits. If you have questions, please email. If the outfit has open toe heels, they are marked Japan on the left, no splits on any. The outfits with the cork wedgies have them too. Closed toe heels are included if the outfit is supposed to have them, unless I state otherwise.There are three pictures where I have tried to show the issues that I'll point out in the descriptions below. NOTE: I consider the majority of these items to be in Excellent or better condition! There are some HTF or VHTF accessories included in this auction and I've also included a picture of some of these items.Complete Outfits -1. American Airline Stewardess - Excellent+ condition.2. Busy Gal - includes VHTF Navy Blue Open Toe heels. This outfit is in Excellent Condition.3. Career Girl - beautiful condition, hat is cool!4. Club Meeting - Looks unplayed with!5. Dancing Doll - no tag on dress. Everything is in wonderful condition!6. Dinner at Eight - Beautiful condition. Both cork sandals have splits on their bottom, but the splits are hard to see.7. Friday Night Date - Very pretty classic Barbie outfit, HTF straws are included8. Garden Party - still very pretty.9. Lunchtime - there were no shoes with this outfit. HTF Tea kettle works, so does toaster. Toast is here too! Pans and toaster have a few light marks/rubs. The belt has a small indent hear the end, but no hole.10. Movie Date - great condition.11. Open Road - This was a favorite outfit of the sisters. No toggles on coat. Red chiffon on scarf has several small holes and a very tiny stain on brim. HTF wedgies are in great shape, however there is glue on one of the cork sandals where the strap was repaired. (Please see pictures)12. Peachy Fleecy - In great condition. There is hardly any of the feather left on the hat.13. Plantation Belle - this was a favorite outfit too. There is no jewelry. Slip has frayed ribbon and snap hanging by a thread. Hat has one band that is bent.14. Picnic Set - HTF fish is not cracked, has a couple of minor rubs on each side. Fishing pole has line and sinker. Will display well! The hat is so fun! Cork wedgies are awesome. Favorite outfit!15. Resort Set - Great condition, has the original HTF bracelet. Cork wedgies are very nice.16. Senior Prom - The gown is in Excellent condition. No pearls on shoes. Please see picture17. Sheath with Gold Buttons, RUST color with mini white dots. Super condition.18. Spectator Sport - has VHTF belt! Has gold dimpled purse and I'm including the VHTF striped knit purse and Mustard Color Open Toe heels.19. Suburban Shopper - has original HTF drop pearl necklace. One of the fruits in the purse is split, just a little on top, not the entire piece of fruit. Hat bands are a bit bent. Super classic vintage Barbie outfit.20. Theatre Date - no hat version21. Winter Holiday - jacket is still soft and flexible. Has super HTF belt. Cork wedgies are awesome!Incomplete Barbie Outfits1. Crisp 'n Cool - no gloves2. Registered Nurse - Everything here is in excellent + condition. Includes VHTF Medicine Bottle and Spoon. No hot water bottle.3. Lame Sheath - has gold dimpled purse, no navy blue shoes.4. Sorority Meeting - Original Graduated pearl necklace included (see picture). Outfit in super condition. There are very small holes on left and right side of sweater near the front shoulders. They are fairly hard to see! I'm sure these were made by doll fingers. No earrings.5. Swingin' Easy - Beautiful condition, sash is a forest green color. No drop pearl necklace. Francie OutfitsComplete1. Checkmates - Beautiful and favorite outfit of sisters! Thread loop on skirt is missing, skirt will stay on doll once blouse and jacket are on.Incomplete Francie Outfits1. Clam Diggers - no shoes or glasses. One gold button on jacket has lost color.2. First Formal - no shoes. Bodice of gown has tiny pinhead size hole. (Please see picture)3. Go Granny Go - No record or record sleeve. Tiny spot on side of shoe.4. Satin Happenin' - very nice, lacy overblouse is pretty. Very tiny, pinhead size dark dot near hem of left pant leg in front. I still am able to find it. I saved the article in case I decided to sell my outfit from my original childhood collection ARTICLE FROM INTERNET : VINTAGE BARBIE “EVENING SPLENDOUR” ~ RARE EARLY Previously Described to my Knowledge! I have recently learned of this through the noted Barbie restorationist and amazing artist Fabienne Martinez ((people also refer to her as Lolaxs)! She noticed this and posted some online photos in 2012 when she acquired one of these rare outfits. She is the one who made this discovery years ago. I have never seen this described before.Here’s a classic with a twist! Barbie’s EVENING SPLENDOUR from 1959 in a previously unrecognized variation! At first glance, this looks like the more usual Evening Splendour that was produced for several years. Look closer! THE PATTERN OF WHITE FLOWERS AGAINST THE GOLD BROCADE IS DIFFERENT. See photos, especially comparison photos with the “usual” outfit. There are more flowers and two different types of flowers in the fabric pattern on this rare ES! There is a lily and a daisy-type flower that are NOT seen on the standard outfit. Also the fabric is similar to the regular version but the quality is slightly better (fabric is a bit thicker) Lolaxs actually solved the mystery by comparing this lily to one that was right in front of our eyes all this time on the early first-issue box! Note the SAME lily on the coat, about the same level as Barbie’s left hand.THE TAGS ARE ALSO DIFFERENT--the usual Barbie-R tag having a little “c” for copyright in front of the words “by Mattel”. This rare outfit has the Barbie-R, but has NO “c”. From my research, Mattel of course labeled the first outfits “TM” before they had the patent, then they switched to “R” some time in 1959. So you have the 1959 outfits with either TM or R. The earliest “R” labels did not have the “c”. My thoughts are, in 1959 Mattel was making Evening Splendour with the standard fabric and this one at the same time in 1959. They clearly made the box graphics from this rarer pattern! Mattel probably didn’t distinguish them as being especially different, and just used both. So in 1959 they made some TM and then some R’s out of this one, and it ran out, or was simply replaced by the other one altogether. Then they ended up using only the standard fabric from 1960 on.THE OTHER DIFFERENCES ARE, THE COLOR OF THE GOLD IS SLIGHTLY “GOLDER” and less bronzey in the rare variation, and it looks a bit richer! The lining fabric is exactly the same ice-blue satiny material. The YKK zipper is a little smaller than the other outfit. This outfit is beautiful RARE VARIATION OF A CLASSIC VINTAGE OUTFIT!” (Condition: Pre-Owned)

What a cute cinnamon girl! This sweet redhead ponytail Barbie is quite demure, but also a knockout! This classic Titian Redhead #5 Ponytail Barbie & her handsome date, 1st issue Flocked Hair Brunette Ken, have lots of tagged outfits & original accessories for their active lifestyle. This collection will give you a big head start on your vintage Barbie collection. Barbie & Ken both have their original swimsuits and shoes! There are many tagged original Mattel outfits like Busy Morning, Mood for Music, Garden Party, Fancy Free, Suburban Shopper, Raincoat Movie Date, Pak Cotton Romper, Pak Pink Lingerie, Golden Girl, Singing in the Shower, Saturday Date, Dreamboat, Yachtsman, and Pak Cotton Shirt & Skirts, Pak purses and shoes! The collection comes with a nice Black Solo in the Spotlight Case & lots of hangers! Please note that the Kaiser stand displaying Barbie is not included in this lot. These dolls are in Excellent condition, and will look great on display, but they are not for "Mint" collectors. Barbie's hair has been professionally restyled into her ponytail with a hard curl at the bottom. She had some retouching done on her pink lips, as they had rubs, and her brows were mostly there but faded, so they were also retouched with artist's acrylic paint. She has never had green ear stains, nose nips, or neck splits. Ken has some very minor hair loss, but he's in great shape otherwise. Most of the clothing is in Excellent displayable condition, but there are some pieces that might need minor mending or cleaning, I will note any flaws that I see in my description. Please note that I do accept returns, but only if items are returned in unaltered, original condition.1961 #5 Redhead Titian Ponytail Barbie is a cutie with a lovely ponytail of shiny auburn hair, and loads of curly bangs. She has a hard curl at the bottom of her ponytail that was professionally restyled. Her complexion is fresh and nice; it hasn't darkened from smoke or molds. She has a matte complexion with no shine. Most of her candy pink lips were there, but they were a little thin, so she has had a lip retouch. Her brows were all there but a little faded, so they have been color-washed. She doesn't have any nose nips, neck splits, or green ear stains. She has never been treated for green ear. She has replacement pearl on filament post earrings that will never stain her head.She is on a hollow Barbie MCMLVIII marked body. She has all of her nail polish and no stains or chews, see pics #19 & #20. Her body looks very nice with minimal play wear. Her arms and legs hold all poses, but I note her left arm has a tiny bit of slippage from 10 degrees in front of her to directly down at her side. She has a small brown freckle (smaller than a pinhead) on the back of her left ankle. Her red Helenca swimsuit is soiled, and is missing some edge stitching. It doesn't have any rips, runs or holes; there is a little snagging in a line down the right5 front.1st issue Brunette Flocked Hair Ken: This guy has great facial features, but does have some minor hair loss, with a small bit missing at his front hairline, and a small patch on the lower back of his head, see pics #21 & #22. Please note there is a bit of white fuzz on the top back right side of his head in pic #22, that is not a bald spot, just fuzz that brushed off. He is stain-free, but needs some cleaning as his legs are a bit sticky and soiled. He comes with his original but untagged striped beach jacket & red trunks and his black wire stand (shown in the main pic). The beach jacket shows slight yellowing at edges of the terry collar; the trunks have some dark spots front and back. Yachtsman Outfit has a very clean jacket & striped tee. The pants show light soil along fronts of the legs Accessories Pic #6: These are all of the shoes included in this collection, except that Ken is wearing a pair brown loafers in the main pic that I didn't include in this pic. Barbie's Mattel shoes are: 1 pair gold wedge shoes, 2 pair of pink heels (1 with poms), 2 pair of red heels (1 shoe has a split), 1 pair of tall boots, & 1 pair of yellow scuffs. The other 6 pairs of her shoes are all clones; one black heel has a split strap. All 3 pair of Ken shoes are Mattel. I will note the hot pink Pak purse has pen ink on the front. There is also a white 3 face Barbie, Ken & Midge Fashion Booklet included, shown only in the main pic. It doesn't have any rips, tears, or writing in it.Clothing Pic #7 & #8: Sophisticated Lady: The rose satin dress is very clean & nice with the silver filigree lace. I see a tiny pulled stitch at the bottom of the left shoulder strap, you have to look hard to see it. The velvet coat has all 3 silver buttons and all button loops. The coat will display well, though it has a couple subtle spots of soil on the front skirt; with one along the lower right opening. The coat's back skirt also has a couple subtle spots. The clean gloves are nice, no rips or holes. Pink heels are good, the pearl tiara might be a Premier clone.Clothing Pic #9 & #10: Pak Pink Lingerie: Needs new waist elastic in the slip; bra also needs new elastic. Pink heels have replaced poms. Busy Morning: Dress shows aging & light soil on the shoulder straps and at top of the zipper. Mood for Music: No holes! Sweater is overall clean, but has faint soil on left front, might clean off. Pants look pretty good, but show a couple small spots on back inner legs, and some light fading yellowing along the front crease. Raincoat: Very clean & nice. Please note the tassel is loose from the umbrella & needs to be reattached Clothing Pic #11 & #12: Suburban Shopper dress: Cute sundress looks good, with working zipper. Shoulders straps show light soil discoloration Hat: has fraying, but pretty clean, good wire holders on underside. Cruise Stripes: Looks good, has slight soil at left bust dart tip & slight soil on straps. The skirt is a nice dark blue, my pics make it look linty and faded, but it is not. Pak Black/White Print Playsuit: Has an aged look, the white background of the print has yellowed. Pak Black Straight Skirt: Excellent. Plantation Belle Dress: Lace is in nice condition, a few pulls in the braid trim at the edge of the lace here and there. Zipper works, but can feel a bit sticky. Orange Pak Full Skirt: Nice!Clothing Pic #13 & #14: Pak Pink Pajamas: Very nice, slight yellowing at the aging elastic in sleeves and waist. Waist elastic has dried out. Singing in the Shower: Very nice, a faint hint of soil near front hem of robe. Ken Striped Silk?/Cotton Robe: Nice robe has some subtle age spotting on 1 sleeve, hard to see. Ken Pajamas: Nice, dried out waist elastic Clothing Pic #15 & #16: Gold Clone Strapless Dress: Pretty brocade fabric with a doughnut snap, nice shape. Floral Petticoat: Looks cute peeking out of Barbie's full skirts. It's clean, but waist elastic has stretched out. I've safety pinned the waist in Barbie's pics. Fancy Free: Looks good! Garden Party: Dress shows aging/yellowing of bodice and sides of skirt. Short gloves are slightly yellowed. Pak Hot Pink Purse: Has ball point pen ink at top front. Movie Date dress: Dress has soil on bodice front left of the bow. Back of skirt has damage to the sheer overlay left of center hem; a chunk of the sheer fabric is gone. Pak Red Cotton Shirt: Nice! Pak Jeans: Look good. Clothing Pic #17 & #18: Pink Satin Dress & Lined Coat: Nicely homemade, pretty brocade fabric, clean. Asian Turquoise Sheath: Nicely homemade of thin silk. Golden Girl: Fabric isn't crisp, but it's clean & will display nicely. Orange Gingham Dress: Clean, cute homemade dress with inset fabric bodice.Clothing Pic #23 & #24: Saturday Date: Suit looks very nice, jacket is missing bottom button loop. Pants show a little shine from overironing near the waist. Shirt is amazingly white, striped tie has replaced rubber band. Black nylon socks. Dreamboat: Outfit looks great, the hipster hat shows some wear and discoloration at the brim. Yellow socks show red staining on the soles from crayon maybe? Shoes will cover the red.Black Solo in the Spotlight Case (only pictured in main pic): Excellent shape; graphics looks great on both sides. Has all drawers, clasp & handle, and a red vinyl strap to hold Barbie in. The metal clasp shows corrosion. Has a 1/2" tear in the vinyl at the bottom of the spine hinge. The metal frame around the halves of the case isn't perfectly square, but case looks very nice, and will keep Barbie's clothing in shape:)You'll love displaying this pretty vintage ponytail Barbie & Ken, and all their fashions! These 3 pretty Mod TNT Barbie dolls & clothing lot will give you a nice variety of dolls to display, and some groovy outfits! These dolls were all gently played with, but they don't have any terrible flaws like neck splits, nose nips, or green ears; and they all look great in their Mattel tagged outfits! This mod clothing lot includes Blue Royalty, Long 'n Fringy, a Shirtdressy clone, Gypsy Spirit, Dancing Stripes, Madras Plaid, Sweetheart Satin, Important In-vestment, Loop Scoop, Fiery Felt, Sports Star, Bright 'n Brocade, Midi-Marvelous, Lovely Sleep-Ins, Togetherness, Silver Sparkle, and some very fun Mod Era clone items, and shoes & accessories. Because all of these items were played with, they are not for "Mint" collectors. I will note any damage that I see. The dolls are pretty clean, but might need some "detailed" cleaning, as they might have a little dust/faint soil. Most clothing will need cleaning or repair, but there are some nice condition items here too. They come in a vintage single turquoise World of Barbie doll case, which is handy for clothing storage, with all the hangers shown. The doll stands shown in the main pic are not included.I have collected vintage Barbie for 30+ years, and I scrutinize items I sell on eBay. I don't call anything "Mint" unless I've just taken it out of the original packaging. If you have a question that my description hasn't answered, please ask me:). I am selling a large collection of vintage Barbie on eBay, so you may want to save me as a seller.I will mention any obvious flaws, but assume that many clothing items might need cleaning or repair.1967 Summer Sand TNT Barbie: She has lots of super silky hair which has been retied into the original style with a replaced pink bow. (You probably can restyle it better than me). She has nice peachy coloring that hasn't darkened, and has nice blush. Her make-up is all original with blush, nice brows, and lips. She has lashes in every hole on her right eye (left in pics), but some of the outer plugs are thin and not even in length. She is missing 2 inner lash plugs on her left eye (right in the pics) and some of the outer lashes are bent. No earring holes or green staining, neck splits or nose nips. Her 1966 Japan marked body is in very good shape; she has all of her nail polish and no staining. Her limbs are tight at the torso, and hold all poses there. Her right leg holds 3 bends. Her left leg holds 2 bends, but sometimes pops out of the 3rd bend. She has 3 tiny scratches on the outside of her left foot; each is 1/16" of an inch long and hard to see.1967 Go Go Cocoa Brunette TNT Barbie: She's a pretty girl with retied hair and a replaced bow. She has super thick bangs that could use a little restyling, as they want to stick out. Her long hair is in nice smooth condition. The hair sections pulled up into a bow stick out in a bit in a rooster tail in back, but if she lays on her hair awhile, it should lay down better. She has all original make-up with nice original blush, and no earring holes or green staining, neck splits or nose nips. Her nose is just a trifle light in color. She has all lashes on her right eye. She is missing 1 outer eyelash plug on her left eye (right in the pics). Her 1966 Japan TNT body has all her nail polish and no stains or poke marks. Both knees hold 3 bends, and make loud clicks. Her limbs hold all poses at the torso, though I will mention that her right arm slips a tiny bit from 10 degrees in front of her body to down at her side. Blonde Growin' Hair TNT Barbie: This beauty has a classic 60's era chignon updo! Her hair looks to be in the original style, though I added the pink bow around the base of her updo curls. The original owner put a little bobby pin in the curl of the growin' hair strand at her back, which I've left in. I have not pulled the growing hair strand out, (so I don't know if it retracts) but it looks like it's in original shape. She has her 2 original hairpieces, mini braid loops with a pink barrette that needs to be reattached to the braids, and long ringlet curls with a pink bow, see accessories pic #12. Her make-up is all original with nice coloring and blush, and all of her eyelashes. No earring holes, neck splits or nose nips. Her 1966 Taiwan TNT body has all nail polish. Her knees both bend and hold 3 bends, though the clicks are a little soft. Her legs are both attached at the hip, but they are very loose and swingy there. These dolls are fragile, and this girl's right leg had fallen off, which is typical for these dolls; but it came off cleanly, so I put a small amount of super glue on the leg's prong part & on the torso socket part that receives the prong. This leg is attached and movable at the hip, though I would recommend not manipulating it much, as I didn't use a lot of glue there. If I used more glue, the leg would be unmovable. Barbie's original pink satin dress has attached panties underneath. The dress has fading in spots (typical for this fabric) and light soil. Accessories Pic #12: The hot pink closed toe heels, yellow pilgrims, blue pilgrims, hot pink pilgrims are vintage Mattel shoes. One hot pink CT heel has a dent on back/side part of the shoe, that can be displayed to the inside. The white mules are Mattel repro shoes. The rest of the shoes are clones; I will note that the black boots are not perfectly identical, though they came out of the same mold and I think they will display well. One tall white clone boot has a split at the front top seam. Clothing Pic #13 & #14: Nice black/gold clone dress & hat. Blue Royalty gown needs a seam resewn at the bodice/skirt seam; it's poorly repaired across the front of the gown, you can see this is pic #5. It also needs a 1" seam repair below the back opening. The fluffy jacket has some small areas of tannish discoloration on the back. Sweetheart Satin bridal gown is dingy with a little spotting, & has a loosening snap at back.Clothing Pic #15 & #16: Loop Scoop: Needs a 3/8" seam repair at front neckline, and 1/2 of snap sewn on at back. Has soil and a little fringe damage. Bright 'n Brocade top needs part of neck area tacked down. Pants have good elastic, but the butt seam needs repair. Pants have spots, some might come out. Lovely Sleep-Ins look very nice, hardly any snags. The gown has a small fray at right side of bust shirring. The homemade floral gown has very cute tiny floral buttons Clothing Pic #17 #18: Long 'n Fringy: Nice; has loosening snaps on top and skirt. Silver Sparkle: Some wear to fabric at back neckline and back opening. Fiery Felt coat: Has a tiny spot on left sleeve, some tiny spots on back, and a tiny "nubby" bump in felt at right bust. Clone red pleather vest & shorts: 1/4" of shoulder seam needs repair. Clone Green Knit pantsuit: Tiny spots on back of top; parts of outfit have different shades of fabric.Clothing Pics #19 & #20: Important In-vestment: Dress has soil & a small thread pull, vest looks good. Madras Plaid coat: Looks nice overall, has fraying at back armhole seams, mostly on the left side. Sports Star: Dingy shirt has a small rip 1/4" at center back neck. Jumper is very lightly soiled.Clothing Pics #21 & #22: Gypsy Spirit: Clean outfit, missing 1 braid tie on vest. Blouse has good elastic & a 1/8" long tiny run/slit on front. Clone version of Shirtdressy: Very nice, missing 1/2 of a snap at back. Togetherness dress: Pindot spot on back, subtle yellowing in small area at front. Purple polka-dot romper overalls: homemade & cute, slightly dingy on white ties/edging. Homemade Mod Cape & Pants: Super cute Peter Max style fabric! Pretty clean, cape needs a fastener to stay on.Pic #23 & #24: Dancing Stripes: Coat looks nice, dress needs shoulder strap/braid replaced. Needs new thread loops at dress back for hooks. Homemade Blue Halter Gown: Looks good, very cute. Midi-Marvelous: Quite nice; needs a thread loop at the dress back. Has a pindot mark just under pink waist ribbon at the back closure; won't show when dress is closed. Single Turquoise World of Barbie Case: I didn't have enough pics to show this. This case definitely shows wear, but has a good handle and accessory drawer. The partition around the doll's spot is bent. The case will need some cleaning. Front graphics aren't bad, but there is paint wear at all the corners; the back shows some soil and rippling to the vinyl. The bottom hinge side corners of the lid have small 1/4" tears in the vinyl, and there is a 1" split in the lid's vinyl along the hinge. Still this is a nice way to store dolls and outfits.
