This listing is for a Rare !! MINT !! Never Opened Still Factory SEALED Barbie Furnished Dream House # 2587-4. Yes, I said NEVER OPEN STILL FACTORY SEALED.PLUS THE DREAM HOUSE IS STILL IN THE ORGINAL SHIPPING BOX and it is still Factory SEALED also. I have looked on eBay and Worth Point and was not able to locate another one in this condition that has ever sold. This Dream House was purchased from Sears for Brandy around 1980 and she decided not to open it because her sister also received one that same year for Christmas. Brandy 's mother wrote Brandy name on the box and they put it in the closet and forgot about it for 40 years. I bought it from Brandy with the intention of selling it around CHRISTMAS. As you can see I am running a little late. Barbie Magical Mansion VINTAGE 1990 ORIGINAL & XTRA SWEET ROSES FURNITURE LOADED
eBay It's October 27th. If the house doesn't sell right away I will be changing it to a bidding auction with the starting bid at 1600. I've seen what these go for in bidding every single one of them went for higher than this......and none of them had as much furniture or better condition as far as the pink not being faded or discolored at all. Someone is sure to appreciate this house! *Got my first message that the link to the album isn't working. I added a different pic of the link so maybe it will fix the problem. I tested it from a different browser and it opened right up. Message me if you're having difficulty and I'll try to help. This listing had over 100 watchers when I ended it. I had it sold and the sale fell through unexpectedly. I have since completely disassembled it without any of the plastic pieces breaking or losing any hardware. No stripped screws. Everything remained intact. I have updated the album as well. You can find the link in the last picture. Please make sure to read the info on the last pic as well for the opportunity to get this cheaper than it's listed for now. There are close to 200 pictures of the house from empty to completely set up and arranged to disassembled and ready for shipping. There's even a video of the washer and dryer working. Also showing all the lights working. Every detail I could think of is in that album. It's a big purchase as it was also a huge labor of love to get all those photos of the different stages. There are only a few of these listed every year. It was appraised in August at over 2k and now in October its gone up another 200 dollars. As it gets closer to the holiday season it will only go up. The amount of original pieces and extras is incredible. I've also had several collectors point out the fact that mine doesn't have all the discoloration that's found with MOST of these that aren't new in box. And that's because it's been stored in a walk in closet with no windows or direct sunlight for years. This is about the best price you're going to find this for, especially with this many furniture sets and accessories that are in WORKING order and the excellent condition of the pink paint and the glitter sides of the house. Most is pictured. The only thing I had trouble with at all was the nightstand combo......but the telephone that is USUALLY missing is included. And the accessory that goes in front of the fireplace is another rare accessory that's missing from most secondary market houses. There are also the stickers that go on all the little food and beverage items. Those always come off over time because of the adhesive staying power after over 30 years. But they are intact stickers that just fell off and were saved.....they can EASILY be reattached by the new owner. Important disclaimer MANY won't ship this because it's huge and fragile. It's over 30 years old after all. It will come DISASSEMBLED to fit in a box. Pictures have been taken of every single piece of this process to avoid any possible return requests. Some level of wear and tear should be expected and I am NOT responsible for any damage incurred putting it back together. This will come fully insured and has signature delivery confirmation, which is required of any item over $750 on ebay. The item is cross posted as I am not new to ecommerce or even this selling platform. Keep in mind that part of the insurance policy says the item can't be put back in transit or it voids the policy. This one’s gently used and ready to move into with minimal fix-up. Yellow and orange house; with the two orange patio sections, closet with pole, mirrored closet doors, patio with all four patio doors, and complete set of hinged windows. It has both the lights at front door, all four upstairs rails and both back half window doors (one is discolored). It also has; one of two lattice front doors, two of four back doors that match windows, one window box planter, and one roof planter. House is only missing three doors and two planters.
