Beautiful Vintage #1 Ponytail Barbie Doll 1959 One Owner OG Stand & Collection!

RARE FIND! Number One Blonde Ponytail Barbie with the Original Early Fashions, Pronged TM Mattel #1 Stand Accessories and Case Little nine year old Alice received the first issue Barbie teenage fashion doll for Christmas in 1959. Mattel’s Barbie had just made her debut at the International Toy show in New York. This is a rare opportunity to own a very special number one Barbie with the original “one owner” childhood collection. It includes many early fashions, complete with the jewelry and accessories This Ponytail Barbie is stunning with her cute upturned nose and signature ponytail. She has dramatic lightning shaped eyebrows and handpainted makeup ; blue side glancing eyes, blue eyeliner, smoky eye shadow, coral red lips, red fingernails and toenails. She’s truly stunning and in remarkable condition for being 64 years old. She is 99% original and retains most of her original factory characteristics This number one blonde ponytail has the extended hairline, which is different from the number threes and later dolls. She is very unusual and rare in that she has two distinctly different hairlines from left to right. Her right side is curved and differs from the straighter hairline on the left. She is wearing her original hairstyle set with the top knot and hard curl at the bottom. The ponytail has been retied with matching colored thread as the band was shot. Her hair is uncut and she has no missing plugs. She has a flocked scalp, silky floss hair in baby chick yellow, full poodle bangs with well defined curls and a cute spit curl on her forehead. Her make up is excellent. as is the the nail and toenail polish. She has all of the correct markings on her bottom; Mattel Barbie TM, 1958 in Roman numerals, pat pending and the number 65. She is marked Japan on the bottom of one foot. Her limbs are nice and tight, but she is able to hold any pose. Her neck moves freely, and there are no issues. She has beautiful and even creamy, pale pinkish ivory body color which is amazing as I e usually sees a in e sort of fading . She has beautiful straight legs with the desired daylight shown only between the thigh and knee , and knee and ankle…A sign of classical beauty with models. She has holes in each of her feet with the original copper tubes present. And she even has her original Mattel TM two prong stand which is very valuable! She has had very minor work done.. a professional restoration to her right pinky and a little touch up to her eyelash ridges. There was also one teeny pinpoint freckle on her left leg just below the knee that has been touched up to match the body color . If you look closely at the photos, you will see how gorgeous this doll is. I have not seen one in original condition that is this outstanding. Barbie has a boyfriend , Ken, who will be listed in a separate listing. Blonde Barbie comes with her original iconic black and white swimsuit, white cat, eyeglasses, black, OT mules with holes. Thankfully her feet do not have any of the staining that is typical with these Barbies. She also has her original gold bangle, hoop earrings! One hole per ear and no green ear! How perfect is this girl?! She is FABULOUS! It was so fun to find Barbie in her original little nest with all the fun boxes and precious accessories that Alice had lovingly kept and preserved. You can tell that this Barbie was truly loved and treasured. DESCRIPTION: European "Atelierfest Rosarie" #1680 | "Pink Parfait" Japanese "Theater Date" The ensembles listed above are highly sought after. The items listed below are completor pieces for each set. PINK ORGANZA BODY BLOUSE Barbie's pink organza body blouse was only available in the European and Japanese market. It was sold with "Atelierfest Rosarie", "Pink Parfait" and the Japanese version of "Theater Date". The body blouse is original, it is not a reproduction. The condition is excellent to near mint. The body blouse is made of a very delicate pink organza. The color is bright, bold and clean; it does not appear to be faded. However, there is a tiny rust colored spot on the right lower corner of the top tier of the ruffle/bib collar. If the top tier of the collar is lifted, there is a larger rust colored spot. I closely inspected the blouse and it does not appear to have any holes in the organza overlay or the pink polyester lining. However, there is a small worn spot on the rear (circled). The original "diamond" is intact with zero flaws. The pink tie is full length, it is in a knot, the tie is adjustable, it can be moved from side to side within the inner gathered collar. All seams are intact and tight. Both of the original snaps are secure. Original Mattel, not a reproduction. PINK CLUTCH The condition is excellent to near mint. The clutch is made of the same delicate and fragile pink organza as the body blouse. The color is bright, bold and clean; it does not appear to be faded. However, there is a tiny rust colored dot on the top corner of the clutch. The original "diamond" is intact with zero flaws. The satin "rope" loop is perfect as well. I closely inspected the clutch closely and it does not appear to have any holes in the organza overlay or the pink polyester lining. I will say the clutch has appears to have a higher pink hue than the body blouse, possibly due to storage. Original Mattel, not a reproduction. PINK GLOVES The condition of the two pink tricot gloves is near mint. The color is bright, bold and clean; it does not appear to be faded. The only flaw found is a microscopic nylon thread pulled from the glove, you have to look really close to see it. Original Mattel, not reproductions. PEARL BRACELET The bracelet is original to the set, it was not added (just so you know). The pearls retain a faint cream luster, there is light aging to the metal and a few of the pearls. BLACK CLOSED TOE HEELS The black closed toe heels were not originally sold with the "Atelierfest Rosarie" or the "Pink Parfait", the sets were sold with pale pink closed toe heels or black spikes. I decided to add black closed toe heels in place of th black spikes. The shoes are in mint condition. Neither show playwear. Both are stamped JAPAN. Original Mattel 1960's FULL INSURANCE IS INCLUDED. Vintage Barbie Ponytail #2 T.M. Body, Boxed JAPAN Stamp, Original Mattel

DESCRIPTION: Vintage Barbie Ponytail #2 Original Body NECK KNOB: Fully intact. Zero chips. TORSO: As seen, faint dimples and "nipples", to the bust. The rear has orange staining, the Barbie T.M. stamp is perfect. (The dark dot on Barbie's back has been removed, it was a piece of glitter). ARMS: Both have the rubber feel, slight discoloration near the hands. Faint dimples to the vinyl near each upper arm. HANDS: All fingers are intact as well as the original red polish. Light surface dirt is present in between Barbie's fingers. As you can see, her hands are larger. LEGS: Both legs are straight, one heavy scratch to the inner left leg, near Barbie's knee (revealing a pale white). The back has what appears to be orange "Sharpie" stains. Please advise, the color is not 100% consistent on the legs due to the ink bleeding. Barbie's left foot has a slight flesh tint when compared to her right foot. The foot that is stamped JAPAN is more pale in color (ivory). The legs are functioning, however, I do not recommend placing her in the sitting position due to her age. I've only done so for the photograph. The Barbie body weighs 5.2 ounces. STAMP: Legible JAPAN stamp with a rectangle box around the lettering, stamped "Japan". RAISED BOX AND RAISED HORIZONTAL JAPAN print. Left side of rear reads "71". All joints/limbs are tight. Zero repairs to the Barbie body. ORIGINAL BARBIE #2 BODY FROM 1960. As you can see, the dress is a tight fit in Barbie, the dress seams do not fully connect at the rear, which is common with many of the Japanese sheaths. The original snaps are intact and secure. The Barbie label is secure. Zero popped threads. Zero repairs. The dress is stained as seen. I do not know if the stains can be removed. A very rare sought after Japanese exclusive. 1960's Vintage Barbie Ponytail #3, Stand Booklet, (1961) Mattel

VINTAGE BARBIE PONYTAIL #3, SUNGLASSES, EARRINGS, MULES, METAL STAND AND BOOKLET PLEASE NOTE: THE BARBIE DOLL BOX IN THE VIDEO IS NOT INCLUDED. DESCRIPTION: DOLL HEAD FACE PAINT: The face paint is 100% original. Her eyebrows are complete with minimal wear. Original blush! Original nose dots. Full lips with an orange hue, fading along the outer edge. Very vivid blue irises with brown eyeshadow and black eyeliner. Absolutely zero paint restoration has been done to this #3 Ponytail Barbie doll head. VINYL: Barbie's complexion is in excellent condition. She has a flesh tone hue to her complexion. The vinyl is 100% stain free with the exception of rust dots on the inner ears (each ear). The vinyl of the head is absolutely stain free! No nose nips. Her ears are free of nips. Zero neck splits. Zero restoration. HAIR: Barbie's hair is extra soft mohair hair. Her bangs are full and retain many tight curls. Her hair is full and very long, original length. Absolutely zero hair plugs are missing. However there are a few strands that have been trimmed to the length of her top knot. The hairs are not noticeable, they can easily be pressed against her scalp. She retains her original blonde flocking on her scalp. BARBIE BODY NECK KNOB: Fully intact. Zero chips. Zero restoration. TORSO: The Barbie torso is solid and heavy. It is slightly faded with a light pink hue across the bust and the center waist. It also appears this particular doll has "nipples". The vinyl smells like crayons. Excellent condition. Stain free. Free of scratches. Zero restoration. STAMP ON REAR: BARBIE, all text is legible. She is correctly stamped Barbie ™ Pats. Pend. © MCMLVIII by Mattel Inc Left side of rear reads "8". ARMS: Both arms are secure and stain free. The color of Barbie's arms differ a couple of shades compared to her torso. Free of scratches. Zero restoration. HANDS: All fingers are intact. As you can see, her hands are larger. Original red polish. Stain free. Free of scratches. Zero restoration. LEGS: Barbie can stand on her own in heels! Yes, wearing her original Barbie mules will stand on her own. However, her right leg is slightly warped inwards at the lower calf, ankle area. Barbie's legs can be straightened with hot water, over time the legs may somewhat resume the former position. I have only straightened the dolls legs once. Both legs are functioning. The vinyl is stain free with the original flesh tone; pink hue. Free of scratches. Zero restoration. FEET: All toes are intact. The original red polish is 65% complete. Both feet are stain free. Zero scratches. Zero restoration. Barbie's ankles and feet are lighter than her legs. I believe this is from me straightening her legs in the past. STAMP ON FOOT: Legible JAPAN stamp on the bottom of Barbie's left foot. All joints and limbs are tight. Zero repairs to the Barbie body. The additional Barbie in photo #16 is for reference only. BARBIE EARRINGS: Vintage clone metal stud earrings with pearls are included. BARBIE SUNGLASSES: Barbie's cat-eye sunglasses with the transparent blue lenses are in good condition. Light signs of handling. The blue lenses are secure. Both arms are secure and functioning. One arm is slightly crooked. Zero repairs. The left shoe is stamped JAPAN. METAL STAND: Barbie's pedestal has been replaced with an original black metal Barbie stand. It is free of wear. Excellent condition. BOOKLET: Barbie's pink ® booklet is in excellent condition. The cover is stain free. One minor rough area to the paper of the front cover near the top right corner. Vintage Barbie & Ken Sears Fabulous Formal Gift Set #1595 | Factory Braid Mattel

BARBIE Barbie's body has been replaced with the "Talking Barbie" stamped "Hong Kong", it was released one year later. The torso, arms and legs are exactly the same, however the markings are different. © 1967 Mattel, Inc. U.S. & Foreign Pats. Pend. Hong Kong. Unfortunately the legs of the "Talking Barbie" from 1967 and 1968 tend to break. Barbie is mute. However, her string can be pulled. HAIR Gorgeous hair, multiple shades of blonde. All of her hair seems to be in place, her hair seems to be correct, in a braid, Talking Barbie dolls were sold with a braid as well as a ponytail with three ties. I added a clear rubberband to the top tie, the bottom rubberband is present but is dry and broken, the original ribbons are in place and have not been retied. FACE Her complexion is absolutely mint! Zero fading and zero darkening. Her face looks brand new! Zero rubs to her make up, unfortunately she is missing two eyelashes. Neither ear is pierced. Zero neckplits. TORSO Perfect torso. Free of scratches and melt marks. Very clean. Stamped MEXICO on her rear. ARMS Both arms are haven't been cleaned using a strong detergent removing the slick coating Each shoulder is semi stained. I do not recommend moving either arm due to the age. HANDS All fingers are intact with zero pin holes. Very clean. LEGS Barbie's legs are perfect. Absolutely zero flaws to the vinyl, both are stain free and function with three hard clicks. Zero pin holes. Unfortunately there are grey stains on each of Barbie's hips. Each leg is attached with the original mechanism, however, the left leg is not as tight. I do not recommend moving either leg. Unfortunately the legs of the "Talking Barbie" from 1967 and 1968 tend to break. FEET Perfect feet. All toes are present. Zero pin holes. DRESS Yellow Ruffled Lamé Gown - Excellent to near mint condition. The material is bright and clean, however the dress appears soiled in the photo's, which it is not. Please contact me for additional photo's. All threads are tightly woven with zero pulls and zero snags... The metallic silver threads have not lost their luster. Absolutely zero holes and zero repairs. The only visible flaw is the yellow polyester underskirt, faint wrinkles. SHOES I have paired Barbie's hot pink closed to heels with the "Fabulous Formal" gown. They are free of fading, chips and splits. Each have a straight heel. Both are stamped JAPAN. PURSE Barbie's gold dimple purse has been added to the set. It is in excellent condition. HANGER The pink filigree Barbie hanger is included. TALKING GOOD LOOKIN' KEN Talking Ken is mute, however, he is in nice displayable condition. Minor fading to his face. Zero hair rubs. Unfortunately his head was glued on, most likely due to a chip of plastic missing from the front of his neck. His pull string does not move and I would not recommend attempting. His arms, hands, legs and rear have surface marks. Both of his arms are functioning, as well as his legs. His rear is stamped MEXCIO. Ken is in good condition. DRESS SHIRT Near excellent condition. The material is bright and clean with all gold threading intact on the tie. The back button has been replaced, the loop is intact but is dried and stretched. VEST Excellent condition. The front of the vest is bright, bold and clean with all three original gold buttons intact and secure. Slight age discoloration to the back. All seams are intact; zero repairs. GOLD JACKET Near mint condition. The material is bright, bold and clean; non faded. Free of holes and stains. The jacket is free of repairs. The Ken label is secure with zero fraying. SLACKS The slacks included with the set are original, they are in excellent condition, bright and clean, one small rust dot can be found on the front right side of the slacks. The YKK zipper is functioning. Free of holes and repairs. WHITE SOCKS Ken's original socks are in excellent condition. Neither of the socks are stretched. One is slightly discolored. Free of holes. WHITE LOAFERS Both are in excellent condition. Each shoe reads Hong Kong on the inside. Free of stains. THE BOOKLET IS INCLUDED. Vintage Barbie NRFB "Orange Blossom" #987 (1961), Mattel 1960's DESCRIPTION: ORANGE BLOSSOM NRFB This listing is for one original Barbie "Orange Blossom" ensemble from 1961, the ensemble has never been removed from the box. All of the original items are intact with original strings and inserts. The white lace dress does have a small area of discoloration on the front right side of the attached skirt, all items are in "unplayed with" condition. I did notice a couple of pieces of glitter inside of the package, so I removed the card from the box (the card the outfit is attached to) and all seems to be in order. I am assuming the box was stored away with one of Barbie's PAK pieces with glitter. None of the items have been removed (NRFB). The box is original, not a reproduction. The color is very good - excellent color, there are however a few small water spots on the front side panels (minimal marks from handling). The cardboard does have a couple of light indentions, not deep creases; zero tears and zero repairs. The original cello has light signs of storage, yet it is absolutely free of indentions and holes. The back of the cardboard box is free of stains and writing, with both "punch outs" still intact (to hang for store display). An "X" is written in pen on one side of the box. Unfortunately the circle label is missing that notes the name of the ensemble. This listing includes the "Orange Blossom" boxed ensemble only. The props are not included.
